How hard do you ride???
Start at 30 to 1. Check smoke and pipe oiling.
I let the kids and missus ride mine, so even at 40 to 1 it still fouls up and loads the pipe with oil.
You air fuel ratio is more critical than the oil I would have thought as this is what gets affected most by exhaust and air mods. Too lean and you'll get melt down at high RPM no matter what oil setting and too rich will run like a bag of sh!t.
Proceed with caution!!!! _________________ RAPTOR 660:

The air fuel ratio should be ya first priority, i run TTS 35-1...should put a K&N filter on and remove ya air box lid and re-jet why ya there, you have already brought the expensive part... _________________ "Its Only A Flesh Wound !!!"

i run silkolene at 25:1
pulled my bansh apart after it had done 5 years work, honed it, put some new rings in and away i go again...
the oil is what keeps the crank alive, the fuel keeps the top end alive, if your floggin it and doin max revs alot then your gonna need a rich oil:fuel ratio
remember if you change your oil:fuel mix too much you will have to rejet, the more oil there is in your fuel, the bigger your main jet will have to be
ohhhh youve changed pipes
run 25:1 and 310 mainjets you should be right with a K&n with no lid, BUT, everyones bike is different, so do a few plug chops to make sure _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

be a good ideer to bring the pilots up 27.5 or 30 and set the air screew
about 2 turns out that a good starting point.
40:1 fule/oil mix is pritty safe for a banshee being water cooled
just make shour you use a good brand of 2stroke oil. tts is good but
motuol 800 factory is what i like to use. just keep in mind that puting more oil in the fule mix can sometimes harm the engine with lio"s of to day have alot of fricion modefiers and can gliaze barells and cause blow by
sorry about spelling all mercanics carnt spell |
