 |
|
| Does anyone know which is the best wire to join in a Pro design Cut off Switch on YFZ450?? Thought it might be easier to ask first than muck around trying to find it and blow up something. Done it before on Banshee but not sure about 450 |

Go under the nose cone behind the LH headlight and there is a connector with a red and white wire into it. You want to join one side of your kill switch to the white wire and the other to a good earth. _________________ DNA ATV Racing 09 KTM300EXC |

even better join one to the white wire and the other to red, this way you won't have to re-wire it if you ever get an after market ignition. _________________

those wires need to be plugged up and you can tap the kill switch wires into them. _________________

what you need to do is strip a bit of the cove back on both wires and hook the kill switch wires straight onto the red and white wires, it doesn't matter which side of the connector you wire into just as long as its hooked up. the plug should only have a red wire and a white wire going into it from the stator. the white wire is the pulse wire for the stator so if its not plugged in the spark plug wont fire. hope this helps RC _________________
