hey,

i am going to buy a quad in the next month or so and i have narrowed my search to 2 choices.

Kawasaki 360workhorse and the suzuki KQ 400. kawi has front locks and enclosed rear breaking. suzuki more power ( i think) injection? and water cooled.

what is the best choice, i am going to be using it on my new 650acre hobby farm to tear it up and do SOME chores.

thanks

hey I'm biased, but for what its worth, go the suzuki, -- fuel injected, auto clutch in the auto, 4 litre sump and super reliable ( had them come into to our shop with over 50,000 klm on the clock ) and better resale value , If I'm not mistaken the 360 is about to be deleted from the Kwaka line up???? like I said I could be a bit biased though.

Honda - push rod 2 valve
Suzuki - overhead cam 4 valve
replacement for 360 ?? maybe they'll outsource supply of ATV, bit like Polaris with the Hawkeye, manufactured by an external company in Asia
-- If diff lock on rear was a big advantage , they'd all be doing it, wouldn't they.

I myself would nearly go the suzuki , Kawasaki parts can sometimes be dearer , and they all need parts at some stage,, and if it is to be an end of the series model , hopefully parts still around in a few years,,,, dont get me wrong the kwaka still a good machine,, saving money now can cost a lot more years down the track
