Cmon Guys whats with all the finger pointing, this is a friendly forum , and really look at the name of the thread , seriously how old are we , if you have a gripe with someone for the sake of others in the sport get over it .
if things are that boring that a topic like this is there to entertain man oh man get a life.
Lets be a forum of good public status and image , as you never get a second chance to make a first impression. _________________ 2012 Can am Outlander Xt 1000cc

You said it Grizz "as you never get a second chance to make a first impression.[/quote].
Thats why the bloke i'm talking about cheesed off all of the guys i ride with in a matter of seconds of meeting him, theres always one in a group i suppose, and they/it should'nt ruin peoples ride, but it does.
How many on here have met up with new people and thought.....holy F#*k, i won't ride with them again, it's a shame really. And i'm not talking about you Dazz, would ride with you and your guys anytime. _________________ Yamaha Grizzly 700 SE 2010

mate it's not you, and i didn't mean for my 2 cent rant to go this far.
Just saying that, one in particular on here seems to jump on alot of posts claiming their knowledge on the post/issue, as i'm sure theres one or two on every forum.
Theres quite a few blokes on here with great knowledge on quads, and what they've acheived and....in saying that its the one that doesn't that seems to reply to most.
Maybe that could be a new topic??, what do we do for a job and what we have personally done to our bikes, not got a shop to do or a mate, what we have physically done.
just me raving and ranting. _________________ Yamaha Grizzly 700 SE 2010

Ummmm back to the main issue here..................... I'm tossing up to change from my red power band to a green one. My mate has the green one and his Banshee dose 215km/h with cut guards and my TRX400 only dose 187km/h with full guards and the red power band. So dose anyone on here know if I put a green power band in my 400 and cut the guards do you think I could maybe get 220km/h? _________________ Smitty |

Smitty, you will actually be changing down if you go from red to green power band as the progression is based on the sequence of the colors as they appear in a rainbow. Have you considered removing the white portion of your handlebar streamers? This may get you the extra power you are looking for. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

Mate, that is fully sick. The green power band is far superior to the red one. My mate has one and his quad is the fully sickest of the lot........ And he told me that the clicker things on the shocks are to adjust how much power band comes in and where. The one on the right shock should be all the way IN, and the one on the left shock should be all the way OUT. And if you got high speed settings then that is fully sick. You just don't understand. He cut his guards fully off and now he gets at least 300km/h with a stock banshee..... just with green power band.... and the shocks adjusted that fully sick way. Sick.... Fully.... _________________ When I'm racing I'm living..... everything else is just waiting. |

I think this thread is nonsense, my whole bike is green, and its only does 453 ks, I have a GPS to prove it. So where do i get a green power band. I cant cut my gaurds, because I've been told it'll do close to 600ks. _________________ 2005 KFX700
