well the toomey T5 pipes are good for that plus if you decide to do more mods e.g porting, the T5's will be even better

T6 pipes suit bolt on mods better

inframe drag pipes only come to life when you have a 421 motor or larger.but sound good

in my opion
no
drag pipes do not work as well as lets say you standrd aftermarket pipes . on a near standard engine
drag pipes can make up to 10hp over conventional pipes.
but you need the engine to go with it.
but if you plan to hot your motor up you could use a set.
you need a pretty good port job (larger cylinder) larger carbs vforce reeds and advanced timming to get any benifit from drag pipes.

the best drag pipes to get are

rdz racing
cpi
the top 3 are nearly the same
grr (grand river racing)
fdz
remember pipes are everything on a two stroke

toomey made the t6's specifically for standard port banshees.

SO, if you are never ever going to port your engine, then those pipes are supposed to be the best you can put on there...

i believe the fmf ssts also have the same development history as the t6s, ie they are meant to be optimized for standard port timings...

by the way you could not have picked two different sets of pipes to compare lol, cpi inframes and toomey t6s!!

just out of curiosity how much did u pay for the t6s?
