i like the look of the launch brand cameras...willing to pay up to $600ish
will that provide me with a mid-range quality cam??

i like the go pro HD can be mounted easy to most places with the mounts they provide i use mine (its a standard def) on my helmet in a few spots and a few spots on the quad and the road bike with good results Wink

Get the GoPro HD just got one and they are brilliant for footage and mounting systems seem fairly strong and only 430 bucks for top model

I have the Contour HD which has good software and is compact to use. It does have a few faults, it cuts out if it gets jarred, like if I hit some tree branches, or when I came off a two wheeler, the camera cut out and I lost all the footage leading up to the event BUGGER it would have been funny.

The Video quality is good.......but I must remember to keep my goggle strap tighter.......

I would highly recommend the GoPro HD. I have had a few others but this one is by far the most reliable, versatile and tough.
Call Mark at Race Recall in Melbourne. He will look after you.
