Looking to buy a helmet cam and was wondering what ur opinions were..
i like the look of the launch brand cameras...willing to pay up to $600ish
will that provide me with a mid-range quality cam??
any other brands i should be checking out?

i like the go pro HD can be mounted easy to most places with the mounts they provide i use mine (its a standard def) on my helmet in a few spots and a few spots on the quad and the road bike with good results _________________ 2006 Banshee

| Get the GoPro HD just got one and they are brilliant for footage and mounting systems seem fairly strong and only 430 bucks for top model |

I have the Contour HD which has good software and is compact to use. It does have a few faults, it cuts out if it gets jarred, like if I hit some tree branches, or when I came off a two wheeler, the camera cut out and I lost all the footage leading up to the event BUGGER it would have been funny.
The Video quality is good.......but I must remember to keep my goggle strap tighter.......

I would highly recommend the GoPro HD. I have had a few others but this one is by far the most reliable, versatile and tough.
Call Mark at Race Recall in Melbourne. He will look after you.
