i dont want to put a bad taste in your mouth but you have gone and spent $$$$ on fox shocks and A arms etc and then you went cheap on your steering dampner ?? i went through 3 of this type in a year for some reason they dont like the harsh tracks in aus . my mate also got the same one from the USA and 2 races later when he when to stiffen up the the damper a touch it locked up . but one click off and it was ok (and no it wasnt at its tighten end) so all im saying is if that dampner works and dosnt stuff up on you Well done but if it dose stuff up on you spend the extra money on a better brand like elka system3 there not to costly and do a good job i used one and never had a issue . but i also use a PEP one now and iv had it 2 years and has never let me down. but be carfull if you do go a PEP coz so people have a massive mark up on them just by ringing around i found a $200 diffrence
P.S. nice bike i love the good ol Raptors . when i stop racing im getting me another one of them _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

yes they do.
when running +3 roll design a-arm with 4x1 offset fronts the bump steer wont be as bad as other set ups.
I have sold a few of the dampers with no problems some are a few years old now and you can rebuild these aswell.
the old push rod type (black ones) there were a few diffenent types aswell .some were good some were chinese copy's and would leak after the first 5mins. I still have one of the good black ones on my 250r, 5 years old ,but the geometery on the r is the best. if i ever replaced it i would use a steamline one.
the cost differents would be about elka etc $895 these $330. _________________ hustleratv.com.au 0407 797 780

yes , these are b4 the pipe, a-arms and shox were put on.
that thing on the handle bars is a temp gauge, I was told they could run hot thats why i put two radiators on it too. It was a fun project to do and it run awsome.

But i do have the best prices for maxxis tyres ,
I support those that support my business and they get there moneys worth everytime. thats why they come back again and again and again _________________ hustleratv.com.au 0407 797 780

I'm hearin you hustler and i would have happily brought the dampners local had i been given a realistic price and time frame unfortunatley the distributors are makin way too much money off things.
If i had been able to get them for around the $700 mark and in a reasonable time i would have brought them locally but to be told $900 and about two weeks or more i said to myself why wait 2 + weeks and spend $300 per item more (i brought two that's $600 saving) when i can order online and not have to go collect them.
So when the distributors (not the guys at the shops on the front line, i know their getting shafted too) pull their finger out and get realistic people will go back to the shops and everybody will win.
And yes i do support the local guy when it comes to things that are hands on (bike work) which is where he makes his money anyway _________________ The main thing is to have fun I just think second place is no fun

cheers all good, dont know what the mark up is but i do import OMF wheels and theres not a huge margin ,so i cant really offer a dealer margin. I just sell direct to the public.
there are alot of fees and charges when you import $10,000 or more like GST, customs, freight etc etc. it all adds up. _________________ hustleratv.com.au 0407 797 780
