Hi guys, I have a 09 700 Raptor and mainly do a lot of open track riding in the bush etc, I would like to get a bit more top end speed so could someone tell me which sprocket to change ie front or rear and which would be suited...cheers Ian
Thanks guys, looks like I better go get myself a 15t front sprocket _________________ My ride...

adding one tooth to the front is the approx the same as taking 3 off the back..
so if you find that going to a 15t counter shaft is too tall, put the 14t back on and take 2 off the back to adjust it slightly. _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

I put the 15 tooth on my 700 and it was great. well worth the change .. it coped alot of abuse and stood strong.. and now i use the 15 tooth on my 450r cos the 700 rappy and yfz450r has the same front sprocket set up _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

I tried a 15T on my 08 Rap which has pipes, intake and fuel controller. really didn't notice much of a difference except it felt like the bike was struggling to pull top speed, kinda like the clutch was slipping.
back to 14T now _________________ 08 Raptor 700SE
