Blingstar nerfs look the best (I think so anyway) but there are heaps of cheaper alternatives out there.
Try:
www.hardimanatv.com.au
www.austraco.com
www.southernquads.com.au
they will all ship Australia wide.

| Try http://processwest.com.au/ if you want some australian made nerfs, pretty good quality, been seeing them on more and more quads and i think we need to be supporting australians trying to fabricate alloy parts. |

| Did this really happen? Nobody has contacted me about it. Sounds fishy that they cracked on two joints and he doesn't give me a chance to help rectify his problem before you post on a public forum. Its hard to help if I don'i know about it. |

The thing is, I don't make nerfs. I import them from the the U.S from Extreme Fabrication. This company supplies Roll Design and White Brothers plus a lot more around the world. I think these companies would not use Extreme Fabrication products if they were the slightest bit dodgy. These companies have impecable reputations to keep, so if they are good enough for them, they are good enough for me.
I am sure any nerfs you decide to buy will be fine as long as you just get some. It will be the best safety mod you can make. |

To John & his team at JMC. in light of the post i made in this thread & further discussion with john i would like to say sorry for my post & any damage it may have caused. To everyone else who have faith in JMC i explained the reason for my friend not contacting john in regards to the cracks on the nerfs was because a short few months after buying the nerfs & fitting them my mate sold his bike, there was nothing "shifty/dodgy" about this situation, i saw the cracks, however he got the price he wanted for the bike & felt there was no reason to contact JMC & thats why john knew nothing of the problem, Im sure it was a one off/ rare problem as ive never heard of any other drama's with these or any other JMC products. So in closing, to you john, staff & JMC's customers im sorry for any offence that has been taken & i hope the companies credibility hasnt been dented..... _________________ 04 TRX 450r

I have chased up prices on a few, some were around the $250 and the most was for 470 plus freight to NT. Process west were the most expensive and look like a strong and well engineered product.
Has anyone heard or seen any on bikes. Any good feedback!
Other wise might get a set off HARDIMAN.
Thanks for the replys

what type of nerfs are you using now mate!
I need them to be strong as will be racing Finke and the riding we do around here is through tight twisty trails with plenty of anthills, logs etc
Cheers |

X-Factor (who supply IMS/Roll now) are pretty good I've had a set for the last 12 months on my YFZ after the GYTR nerfs had copped a fairly serious flogging.
Over tha last couple of years we've run just about every kind of nerf on the market here on one kind of quad or another and found that any of the standard kind ( ie anything that bolts to the standard foot peg) will break under extreme use, usually from the mount to the peg. If you want something to last it is usually best to pay for something that will, like a good pro peg nerf where there is no join there to break.
Southern Quads can get you any kind of nerf you want, X-Factor, Blingstar, AC or DG 0419 001 747 _________________

I have a set of DG nerfs on the 400EX now. They are getting replaced by some Pro Armors because the part that bolts up to the frame at the foot peg has fatigued and they keep bending down (like PeteW said).
But the DG nerfs have been on the quad since 2000 or 2001 so they lasted pretty well.
These Pro Armors look really tuff and on a couple other forums im a member of i have never found anything bad about them _________________ Mic

I bought a set of Pro Peg Nerfs for my Raptor 700 in December and thay are rubbish first of all the foot pegs would not line up with the nerfs so I could not put the locking bolt through to secur the nerfs to the pegs (still waiting after 3 months for new pegs Pro Armor and Rat Motorsports are still pissing me around). In January the heal guards started to crack I sent pictures to Rat Motorsports and thay sent pictures to Pro Armor and I am still waiting. Recently I sent an e-mail to Pro Armor and thay have not even had the respect to contact me. Pro Amor's products are rubbish and Rat Motorsports do not back the product either, stay right away from any thing that is made by Pro Armor or sold by Rat Motorsports.

The above is a good reason to buy Australian made.

Raptor Rules,
I see you've changed your attitude very quickly. Just the other day (January) you were telling me over the phone how good the product is. You are also the 1st and only person (of about 20 sets of Raptor 700 nerf sales) that has complained about the product. And as for the "still waiting for your replaicement footpegs part" Jacques left numerous messages for you to call him back so he could help you with the problem (pegs on the right way??). Now I ask you- Did you call him back????????By the way- not once did we promise you a new set of footpegs. I said I would pass your info on to Pro Armor as they back the product with a 12 month manufacturers warranty, and that is just what I did. I don't care if you bag Pro Armor about their customer service, but no need to say bad things about us. We have done exactly what we said we would do.
And in the future, why don't you post your name at the end of your message if you have such a big statement to make??

Tim you talk rubbish I sent you e-mail after e-mail concerning these Pro Peg Nerfs and as for putting the pegs on the wrong way it showes how much you know about Quads Mr Smart arse on a Raptor you can not put them on back to front as one monts the rear brake Mr no it all. By the way you are a straight out liar I never said thay were excellent Nerfs I said thay were the most expensive Nerfs in Auistralia and you should back youn product better. You stuffed me around big time and you provide "profanity removed" after sales service. As for Jacque he did not give a "profanity removed" about the pegs untill I started hounding him after the heal guards cracked and I never noticed an E-mail from him if he could not contact me . Your a bullshit artist. I hope I see you at the drags in stockton at Easter and I will take this up with you personaly one thing I hate is a F-----cking liar.

Well Mark,
I'm sorry you feel that way. I'll leave it at that. You've already made a big enough (sausage) out of yourself.
And for your information-No i won't be at the drag.
