 |
|
I have decided to buy myself a 2004-2007 Suzuki LTZ400. Although I do not even own this bike yet my mind turns to simple cheap/free mods that could improve its performance.
The first mods that I was contemplating carrying out, was to firstly open up the standard airbox a bit and secondly cut down the muffler by about 3 inches.
Would these be two good mods to carry out? Would I notice the difference? What cheap/free mods would you suggest? |

You would need to re-jet the carby if you do that, but more importantly you are going to make so much noise you will piss off everbody for miles around!
For me the Z400 needs a steering damper before anything else, and rear axle spacers. Both will make it a much better quad to ride. _________________ Cheers,

i had an early model ltz, gave it an after market airfilter and jetting and a pipe, found that real good
for on the cheap, jet it with airbox lid off, but i think ya should leave the muffler alone (dont cut it)
but before you do anything i rekon rear axle spacers too _________________ Race In Peace Chillibin |
