Well what a weekend, Grizzly finally got off his bum and organized a ride. It had nothing do with the fact that he wanted to show off his new 700 grizzly. So me and the glw load up and head off to his mates place, just out of Cavendish and not a bad set up, if I say so myself. Decent kitchen, 2 wood heaters and big fire pit, and plenty of room to camp and park the trailers, and just to the right of the hut is a fantastic little MX track the kids burned around on all weekend.
Any way Saturday morning comes and just waiting on a few late comers to arrive and we can head off… So Saturday afternoon arrives and the late comers turn up, and we head off on the property and do a fair decent ride, nice and hilly in areas, and to the back of the property was a lagoon with a nice muddy area, but more on that later. So with the ride well under way, and the pecking order worked out, made a fair mile of it and while being up so high, the cold sets in real quick, so back to the camp we all went.
Saturday night was the norm, drinking, eating and bullshiting was the order of the night.
Sunday morning came and this time we were organized and after a good beaky, we all hit the trails again, but this time it was more or less just long straights in which to wind out the quads and blow the cobwebs out of. So we all head down to the back of the lagoon and had a nice little mud pan to play with and with 8 of us there, there was only one willing to have a little play, that’s right ME and the mighty team green, mind you hearing Grizzly say “I don’t want to dirty the new bike” oh diddums, the new 700 cant handle the tough stuff me thinks, and there might a pic or some Video of it around. And at one stage I thought I was going to go over the bars, but I didn’t and saved a lot of embarrassment And speaking of video, there will be blooper of sorts but ask Preisty about that, he has a copy of it already, very strange indeed, must be a Honda thing? I have included a poll to gauge if we want it shown here or not. So any bits I missed some one else can fill in. And if you got any pics post them up, I mainly got video.
And the riders role call was
Grizzly
Miss Eli
Dennis
Angel Girl
Snowy
Preisty
Steve G
Mathew G
Shane
And Cam, and Bon Bon (hope the spellings right)
And me!
And lets not forget the partners and family’s that took the time to show up and make it a great weekend. _________________ 2005 KFX700

Good time had by all, good effort Grizz.
Don't know how to post a vid, nothing special anyway.
I propose a new poll: "Should Yogie learn to spell Priesty ?"

Hmmmm, maybe I just have a suspicious nature but that Poll did seem a little biased, rigged even????
Saying that, bring on the video clips, I am all for corrupted polls if they go my way

Ah - silly me, you seem to be using the unscrupulous manufacturer method of evading prosecution, mis-spell the name and get away with the game, very clever indeed. I do however enjoy my Rapple I-Pad, my Nyke shoes, my Sonny DVD player and my Hondaaaa quad....
Just joking on the quad, it is a genuine Honda
Anyway, I digress, I am MM, I am an ATV youtube clip junkie and admit it and I want those Vids!!!!!
Love the site, it's great to finally have a local forum to play in, thanks for all the hard work from the creator of the site and the moderators within
