g'day everyone

i'm looking to put on a quad tech front cover and cutting my plastics back on my 09 YFZ450r. However i am not too confident to do this myself, was hoping to find some around the brisbane/ goldy or toowoomba area who has successfully done this before and throw ya a carton of grog.

havnt done it yet, but i been readin up on it cos i was thinkin about it:
so heres some info that I found out

Use electrical tape to mark out the lines you want to cut
Leave a centremeter extra space in case you screw up
Heard about people leaving the bike in the sun to soften the plastic and using pig knives to cut. ask someone else what they used to cut the plastic.
After you hyave cut the plastics u can use sandpaper to smooth the edges, then go over the edges with a cigarette lighter to melt the edge a little bit so its smooth.

Hope this helps Very Happy i never dunnit yet though laughing

if your pulling the plastics off just take them down to your local platics supplier shop and get them to cut them for you that way it will be perfect and wont cost much either
