i need a new set of tyre on my shee, i've been running kenda dominatiors but am looking for a change.
what im after is a set for soft terrain, mainly sand. 2 or 4 ply to suit a 9 inch rim.

with all the distributers and racers on here i was hoping i could get a nice amount of opinions, so let me hear them.

cheers Toby

Jonny at jmc have rears that are razor copies. They are great for soft and sand terrians. I have had two sets of them. use them on the beach, they pull as hard as a paddle but still give you sliding action. I think they were about $90 each.

Have had mates that sold thier paddles to buy these. Well worth a look and well worth purchasing. Also has fronts for the same price.

Hope this helps

two of my mates just purchased "Duro" razr copies from quadparts in perth for 99bucks/rear tyre and took them straight up to Lancelin dunes to test them and both were very happy.
1 set on a z400 from stock and other set on kfx450 from razr2 original and he didnt notice much difference but both were pullin wheelies all day on them. give the guys at quadparts a call,I think he posts stuff up north from perth

they are a 4 ply tyre

The raz'2 will allow you to turn sharp with no under steer like a paddle . They give good wear also, both copies and original raz's.

the razr copys have the same tread pattern design and that is it.
they are not the same tyre, and will never perform as good for as long as a genuine.
i wont run anything but genuine razrs on my bike's.
i have given a set absolute hell on my 10 and they still have 8/10 tread after 3 years of wheel spin, on both hard rocky, and soft terain.
i dont run bead locks, and have never spun the tyre on the bead, and they hold there shape when north of 200 kph.
that says enough for me.
Dom at hustler atv is the best to deal with in regards to these tyres.
cheers

another question.
if the knobs are spaced apart are they more of a soft terrain tyre compared to one with alot of them all together
