G'day all
Not long ago I bought a raptor 350
I've just taken it in for it's first service
I asked my yamaha service dealer about the toe-in my quad
has and if he could fix it
He told me it's not adjustable
Can anyone tell me if this is true

I'm guessing your man at the dealership is either a liar or knows very little about quads. I've never seen a quad without adjustable toe, not to say they dont exist.

Even my 250 and 110 chinas have adjustment so I would say a raptor 350 would have it for sure.

Hey mate to adjust your toe you need to adjust your tie rods (undo the lock nut each end and wind them in or out) be aware though that changing your toe angle will affect the steering of your bike and the way it handles during a slide, too much toe in will make the front end of your bike slide alot easier and you may end up with the front slipping and sliding even when your arse end hasn't even broken traction, toe out will have the opposite effect it will have the arse sliding quite controllably if you set it right. Be aware though that too much toe out will make the arse want to follow the front and may again effect the way it behaves during a slide unfavourbly It is all up to the individual how you like your bike to handle, the best way is to adjust it and take it for a ride then decide if you like how it feels, but if your are not to sure just set it to neutral (not toeing in nor out) as I am fairly confidant that this is how most bikes would be set off the factory floor. I run my race car and my quad both with a slight toe out to improve handling at higher speed, Hope that helps mate
