i agree with feral.
need to find some nerf or simila padding and glue it on there.
maybe some wetsuit material or something, cause thats gonna remove bits if you hit something hard, or land front heavy.

Get a blue foam mattress from a camping store, they work well and dont absorb water, we use them for seat padding in go karts
