Just out of curiosity was keen to know what everyone on the forum does for a crust. Please post occupation and pics if you like.

I will kick it off. Cheers.

Occupation: OH&S coordinator(officer) specialising in rail construction.

Key Role: to monitor job sites and ensure that safe work methods are being adhered to, inspections, auditing, drug and alcohol testing etc.

Alot of excavators!!

Cheers guys, i look forward to seeing some interesting occupations and pics. Very Happy

Anything I can get. Tomorow I will be shed b1tch at a mechanics, just tidying up and sorting things out, chipping weeds ect. Other times I work on grape blocks doing cart work (picking up the boxes from the paddocks, loading them on the trailer and then putting them in the shed), Rolling up vine covers, driving tractors.

Mainly anything that will give me enough to keep my bikes going and put money in my bank towards a ute. Draw the line at being a checkout worker at the supermarkets though.

Aluminium fabricator (just a boily really lol)sounds better that way.
I work on and repair heavy vehicles.Mostly everything to do with petrol tankers, calibrations of meters, aip testing,Tank modifications,All types of repairs mostly inside the tankers.Heaps of other stuff including just standard fabrication.
Gets pretty scary at times getting in side a tanker thats just had 30 000 liters of unleaded on it to start welding lol (strict gas free and safety measure's do take place lol)But yeh strikin the first arc still scares me lol.
So if you ever see a red head flyin through the atmosphere prob just didnt read the gas tester right lol.

I'm sure all you guys are confined spaces accredited and complete a confined space entry permit along with all require atmospheric testing/monitoring and purging of the tank prior to entry. But i agree..striking the first blow in the tank would be scary knowing what substance was recently in there. Very Happy
