Hi Guys,
My name is Shane. I live in the ACT at the moment and have recently purchased an 06 Banshee. I've been riding it now for about 6 months and am loving every second of it.
I stumbeled accross this site by accident, however Im glad I did. The Place is full of great information.
I'm normally found riding out at Larbert Road just out side of braidwood. Its a nice place and the owners of the property are great. Riding costs 10 bucks and there are plenty of different trails, Sand tracks and even a really small set of dunes...
Any Way... It's nice to meet you all sorta...
Look forward to chatting with you all. _________________ SHANE GOODWIN

Hi Mate... Thanks for the welcome...
Ive just added you on myspace... Its good to meet some ozy riders finally... All my mates have those boaring bikes with only two wheels...
So you have some pipes? I was thinking about putting on those DMC Alien pipes... what do you think?
Reckon you could point me in the right direction? _________________ SHANE GOODWIN

hi shane
if i had a choice of any pipes they would definately be the pro circuits im not sure on the dmc's i havent really seen one go with dmc's but i have heard of lots of people on banshee hq recomending them
in my opinion if you have the cash and you find a set go for it.
have you been on banshee hq????
cheers

Yeah mate... Banshee HQ was the first place I found a while ago.. Lots of great information... lol Is great stuff. They are the guys I turned to when my TORS were playing up... (Day One Of Riding) hahahahah
Not too worry...
The only reason I was looking at the dmc brand was because they seemed to have them in oz... I'll have to have a look arround... Ive heard good reviews on the trinity T5's. I just dont know... lol
I'm not really going to work the engine all that much.. So I really just need a set for a semi stock motor I supose... Just something that has great bang for buck and is as loud as all buggery.. hahahahah
I love that crackle sound... _________________ SHANE GOODWIN

cool i always go on banshee hq and the TORS setup was the only thing bad on the banshee the only way to fix the TORS setup is to get a set of 28mm flatslides and chuck in, you can buy the toomey T5's here at JMC racing at belmont for about 1500
or see them here
http://www.jmcracing.com.au/site/details.cfm?productIDNum=464
from what i have heard and seen the t5 and t6's go very well
cheers

hey buddy welcome to the site. i just put toomey t5s on mine and they are sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! they look great and sound awesome. i imported them direct from USA myself. it cost me about $950 all up to my door for brand new chrome t5s. Plus u get jets and air filter, which u dont with other pipes. But yeah i love mine thats for sure
just my .02c

hey welcome to the site
As far as pipes go i really like the FMF SST's they have a sweet note and give you power in the mid range as well as top end. I had em on my banshee and loved them, also motion pro do a conversion kit to remove the TORS setup easy to install available for twist and thumb. |
