| Is that a full size quad on there. I am thinking of doing that with my raptor 700. And also make something for the back to take a cr250 . |

PROXT, not sure if you were refering to my setup or mikerosenkids but yeah mine is full size Kawie 450r. I have a bike rack that fits into the tow hitch on the back of the camper for carrying a full size bike. When I get a chance I'll video it and post on You Tube. _________________ "Happiness is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it but only you can feel it"

There are a few down sides to having your quad on the roof of a camper, besides the already mentioned CoG, wind resistance, steep ramping angle.
If you're on a big trip and there is an overnighter, or more than one, the quad has to come off every evening, and go back on every morning. If your quad is noisy this can make other campers in the area not ready to get up as early as you a tad grumpy .
Once camped, if you want to take the quad to a great riding spot or some dunes 50klm away, you have to pack up the camper to get the quad there. This makes the missus really happy, and ensures you will have a most excellent day!
I looked at selling our Jayco camper and buying an offroad Cub Camper to put my quad on top of, but we regularly stay at caravan parks and trailer the quads out to the dunes each day. The thought of packing up the camper every day plus the noise I would make riding the quad up the ramps quickly ended that idea.
The best idea for me is a small flat top truck and tow the Jayco.
Money is stopping me, as always. _________________ Cheers,

That looks great......apart from the bogged bit .
How long is the set of ramps you use?

Hey Tone
3 meter folding ramps rated @ 500kg each with the curved top Solid as.
Your Camper looks very similar to mine as a precaution I strengthened my racks by putting a piece of hardwood under rack on top of steel lid to help spread the load of quad on top.
C.O.G No worries In that bog I'm in the camper is down on its chassis and that is 600mm off ground level and it is no where near a roll over point if you visualize a line through the motor of the quad and outside bottom of trailer tyre I reckon theres plenty left to be a good safety factor.
Would I take this rig off road? Probably not but I would more likely drive to a spot and then take the quad from there.
