 |
|
Well here at ATVOffroad, we've been busy designing & fabbing up the Mark I version of our front & rear steel Brush guards, these are in R&D stage atm but we hope to be selling them soon, they will be getting additional side brush guards which will be added later.
Features include: Recovery points, thick walled steel for strength, light tabs, powder coated & 'RG' laser cut logos for some bling...
Let us know what you think?
Cheers
Graham & Russell

Thanks, we will be selling the front for $330.00 inc GST and the rear will be $195 inc GST once we've finished testing them out.
They bolt on to existing mounts on the bike and we have only just begun making them so we've used our Yamaha ATV as the test bed, we will eventually like to make bar work for all models of bikes depending on dealers and if they'll let us borrow a bike to measure and create off. We don't want to have to buy each model of bike due to the costs involved.
Thanks for your interest.... _________________ www.atvoffroad.com.au

I think you have a real nice design there, I suppose the only thing I would suggest is a colour range, and on a negative side the cost of the front one, bit rich I feel. Are they mig or tig'd welded ? _________________ 2005 KFX700

They look great IMO. The only thing I'd mention is the rear bar might get caught up on trees ect where it bends around the rear guard and points forward.
The front looks awesome If I had a 4x4 Quad I'd get one for sure. Good luck with the production.
Luv ya work!

Thanks Yogie, I don't see why they can't come in any of the standard powder coat colours which I think are the 'Dulux' range but I'll have to ask our powder coater before hand. The cost of the front bar we think is on par with the amount of work involved and all the extras that come on the bar, the cost could be reduced accordingly if there not included. All bar work is MIG welded...
Thanks for you input.... _________________ www.atvoffroad.com.au

Hi Willow, we had thought about that and these bars are going to be getting the additional side brush guards which connect into the ends of both the front & rear bars. For all non side brush guard bars they will have ends added that face inwards to prevent what you're refering too.
Thanks for your kind input! _________________ www.atvoffroad.com.au

Update: We have now added light bars to the front bar, which is an extra tube that protects the head lamps. I will upload some photos after the weekend. Those of you who are going to the Manar Park weekend will see it there, those who aren't will have to wait till we get back... _________________ www.atvoffroad.com.au

Thanks, we will look at making barwork for Can Am Outlanders, Renegade's and Kawasaki Brute Force 750's in the near future and possibly the Yamaha Rhino if we can get our hands on them. _________________ www.atvoffroad.com.au
