I cant see any reason to go to a single carby. if you need a lighter throttle buy a new 4 stroke lol..
If you are worried about synchronising carbys just buy a synchronising tool, best thing i ever bought, easy as to use and gets the bike running sweet. _________________ He Who Dies With The Most Toys, Wins

haha, did you use a twist at finke mate? if not your a machine!
i always wanted to buy some of those carb tools but never got around to it, i just lined the slides up by eye and then also synced their operation by listening to them close (engine off of course) _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

i started with the thumb at finke but the the thumb trottle was jamming on the dual gasser so i had to go to twist, and thats the first time i used a twist on a quad, it took me the whole time to adjust lol, i have never found the shee to have a stiff throttle even with the stock carbys with tors..
I used to sync the carbys by eye then fine tune them by ear with a peice of hose (the way my old SU tuning book told ya to) have the engine running put the hose in the inlet of the carby and listen for the suction, then do the same on the other side untill it sounds the same..
took ages, seemed to work alright, but this syncing tool shlts all over that idea. _________________ He Who Dies With The Most Toys, Wins

Im runnin twin OKO 30mm flatslide's , their a keihin copy I belive
ran into probs with my old Bores, as it was set up for sand drags by previous owner ( Crazy mid ->top porting ) it was running out of fuel up top
I have read somewhere on the net , drilling out the fuel galleries in the carb solves this problem
have had no probs since I changed the Bores & porting ( Low->mid , more useable power on the trails ) _________________ "03" Banshee
