Well its march now and with the start of the Thunder x just around the coner. Thought id get this up early so we might get some more interest from some new riders. For the last 3 years we've averaged about 12-13 riders so with any luck we might get some new facers show up this year.

Apparently there are only 3 confirmed tracks for this...somewhere near Tiaro, the one at Rocky, and Conondale. So unless they get 1 or 2 more it may not even go ahead

Oh . . . I think I missed the sarcasm. It is just messing even more with my 2010 racing plans! I am not having much luck at this stage.

all my plans have changed and then changed again. No longer can complete the Tri state series due to surgery, so its back to thunder x, which looks extremely shaky at the moment with noone saying they are going to hold the rounds. and i missed easter because i wanted to save the money for roma. all things should be back on track for me within 2 months. haha

Cool i'll see what's happening then but round 1,3 & 4 sound good to me not sure if i could make it to rocky especially seeing as there are two rounds in one month which is a bit stupid
Is the thunder X series a natural terrain mx or a stadium style track?

yeah...the widest and fastest is normally at Hook's place near Kingaroy...but due to the generousity or lack thereof of MQ...it won't be there this year. A lot of people have rated it the best track they have ever ridden on...look for the posts on last years ThunderX and you will find pics of it
