When i rev my yfz 450 the revs stay up for a couple of seconds after i release the throttle. has this got something to do with the throttle cable ?
It dosnt sound like it should be doing this .

Its either you have a stuck throttle cable or you might have a problem with your carb. try to check if the throttle is quite hard to turn if so then the culprit is the cable. Then check also the vacuum lines the might be some air leak on the hose.
