Looking at some of the names in the Pro Am class, Brentons jumped into the deep end, will be good to see if he cuts the mustard !!!

HI Everyone, Luke had a mechanical error at this stage, no accidents. Have to wait till Chris gets "Credit" to chat with him as they are not in an internet or wireless area. Severe Storms are pounding or are anticipated to hit Pell City, all tents and bikes are away for all riders. They will know in about 2 to 3 hrs if they are racing at all. Very muddy there apparently.

Chris finished 8th in the Pro Am class in practise but wont be doing his qualifying until 11pm WA time (Pell City is 13hrs behind WA time). He did practise on Friday on the shortened track with 25 others in his class and posted the quickest time. He got to practise only the once on the full track in his practise yesterday. If he qualifies then 4am tomorrow morning is the race. Damm sat up this morning just to watch his every lap to ensure he at least finished.

Nerves whose got nerves, nah not me. I think I m worse not having contact than being at an actual race.

There are 36 in his class and his qualifying heat is Heat 2. Fingers crossed he gets to race, he has a few injuries at the moment and a borrowed helmet from Thomas Brown whom they have buddied up with to follow to each round, together with Hettricks and Creamer. His web page will have all helmet cam footage soon, as soon as they get into an internet area to post it all up, including Chris's "mis judgement" and black eye and a helmet that is missing the front chin section. "The Leat brace saved me mum", not what I wanted to hear!!! But still good to know he is in good spirits. He also has Lukes mishap and a fw others after their traning at Keith Littles track, and Joel Hettricks I think attemtped step off the bike one plus all the footage practising with Pro Riders. Hopefully by the next race he may have his race bike, but for now its the stocker with suspension and A-arms.

Sounds likes he's going to be fast at the nats this year, when he comes home from this experience !!.

Pro Am practise is at 9.00am there time in 2 hrs for all.

I am going to go through and count up all classes and see what we have. They anticipated approx 600 to 800 - I would saying close to maybe 600.

NOW THATS A QUAD STAMPEDE

In Lukes Class Production A there were 37 riders.
