welcome aboard - plenty of places to ride but watch the fun police in Perth. There has been plenty of topics about the Gnangara Pines so check them out. Also there is one somewhere about getting your rec rego so do it asap as it may stop a lot of questions later on.
Enjoy the new toy. |

Yeah not much legally in the way of trails for ATV's. These guys are on to it so give them your support. http://www.rtra.asn.au/index.htm
Hopefully we can see some action soon... _________________ 2005 Banshee Special Edition

Hi Scooby
PM me your email address, have many spots for you to have a look at, with GPS/google maps links
I ride regularly out at metro rd, great trails, state forest, but not water catchment
Anytime you are available for riding Mon-Fri, I am usually available for a tour

Hi all,
just stumbled onto these forums today and was suprised to learn that gnangara/pinjar pine is illegal to ride in (syd road and north). Please excuse the ignorance but im somewhat new to ATV's and a pretty keen trail rider, id just always thought it was the done thing out there.
I dont really get a kick out of riding in the dunes so really id like to find more trails around perth and also dont mind driving a bit. Ive only spent time in the pines and lancelin so far.
The right thing to do is some research into Shire info regarding trail riding but also wouldn't mind a few tips on the spots out there....
cheers, hopefully see ya's out there! |

Hiya,
It is legal to ride in certain areas of Gnangara and Pinjar pines m8. There ar quite a few other areas that you are allowed to ride, all within an hour of Perth city.
I tend to be at Gnangara early on sunday mornings with a friend, and i've been to tworocks but no where else yet. ( only had a quad for a couple of months)

hey guys there is also a quad only track . have a look here www.atvwa.com it is located at woodridge in the middle of perth and lano . you can call mike at quad parts for hes is the president of the track. it cost you $200 for the year and you get a key and can go and ride there any time, they also hold events there from time to time as well. _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga
