Dirt wheels review states 233kg wet for the 700xx, annoyingly in the shootout with the IRS polaris they quote that at 169kgs but conveniently fail to mention that's a dry weight figure.
Incidentally "dry weight" figures exclude the battery, as the manufacturers solution to draining the battery fluid is to take the battery out altogether.
Pretty sure I read somewhere that the 700 Raptor is 205kg fully juiced up.

=192kg, I stand corrected. 41kg is a pretty hefty premium for the Honda to carry around.

maybe a fair bit more weight to carry but you get 10.5" of ground clearance,

Folks you must remember in the real word (Trail riding) the weight is nothing there is nothing I can not do on my 700xx that I done on my Raptor 700 the only thing I notice is its a bit heavy when jumping. But in every other aspect the 700xx is more than a match . That IRS is just so good It would be unbeleivable with Elka's or similar. I have just had all my standard shocks revalved and yes you can rebuild the front shocks and that should make a huge difference. Will report how it goes against my mates Raptor 700 this weekend should be a good shootout now I have some suspension on par with the Raptor.

Hi TRX 700 mate your doing all that understear and wheelstanding because of the 22x11x10 your running they just generate to much traction the tyres are huge. My TRX has no understear or wheel standing problems and I am running Maxxis Razar 22x10x11 and Kenda XCF 22x7x10 and it is well ballanced. My thing slides lik a SRA machine but with the added bonus of an excellent ride due to the IRS. Mate getting your standard suspension revalved makes a huge difference also.

why is it so heavy compared to the irs polaris?
just wondering if its frame design, engine or what?
it wouldn't surprise me if the weight had something to do with the thickness of the steal
