Hey guys i have a issue with my 09 YFZ450r . in the past 3 weeks every time i have gone out i have split a chain roller (the nylon part) what am i doing wrong ? chain to tight ,to loose ? or somthing else ? i used the yamaha type ,all balls type and im not sure what the brand it is got in there now but the last two were dual bearing type.
Thanks Barry _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

Maybe there is a design flaw with the roller position as in the early YFZ450's.
Do a google search and see. |

i run one of these instead of a fixed lower roller and have found it to be a awesome design and works very well. i used to chew thru rollers all the time on my yfz10r, but since fitting this have not had one single issue.
i think the actual rollers they use never wear out so its a once off purchase kind of thing.
very simple install, undo your rear foot pedal mounting bolt, and then bolt this back on in the same spot. select the up or down spring that comes with the kit, adjust your preload and alignment, and your done. 10 min max.
