I was having a look at both of these tires and they both look the same. Whats the difference between them? Are they different compounds or something? _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

They are down the bottom of that link. One just says high grip compound for desert terrain and the other doesn't say much. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

the parkers weigh more, that grabbed my attention first, and it looks as if they are going to make them in a smaller height.
other then that id say the are problably close to identical.
so now that i've told you what you've proably allready read, what do you want to know? _________________ 01 Banshee

Maybe for you Yogie but money is a big object for me. Pretty much if they were a different compound for the different terrain. Because I would just buy the one that lasted the longest. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

the point I was trying to make was which one is the best, not which one is the cheapest overall. _________________ 2005 KFX700

neither, becuase i prefer to run 2 or 4 ply tyres. but if i had to make a choice i would go with the knarly's, although i cant go by experince because i have never run either _________________ 01 Banshee

They are both awesome I've using both for years. If you riding in desert conditions go with the Parker's they have stronger cases. But if you want a lighter tyre for more acceleration go with the Knarly.
Put it this way I wouldn't go to Finke with anything but Parkers i've never had a flat with them _________________ Smitty |

Was supposed to be a joke but it is a really good point anyway. If I was going for cheap i would just buy the same as I have again. But if I spend a bit more i will get more what I want and will probably last longer.
Cowchaser that was pretty much what I was after. I'm in the mallee so its pretty much like Pinnaroo probly just a little less sand but its still all red dirt and plowed up paddocks that are pretty much desert. Do you find one wears quicker than the other? Also round about how much are they? Just too put into my budget for how much work I need to do. Rolling up vine covers is a terrible job, but alright money. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"
