Hi everyone !
My name is Sean, I live in the Logan area (Brisbane). I'm a bit new to the whole Quad thing, I've ben riding bikes for about 30 years and I always thought Quads looked like fun.
As the title says..... It all started with a whipper-snipper,my dad sold the old family home and moved in with one of my brothers, "thanks bro, take one for the family" while we were cleaning out the place one of my sons found an old whipper-snipper..... his pop said "you can have that, it's a good snipper" Well....... It might have been, about 30 years ago. So I said to my son "what are you going to do with that" he said "WE can make a go-kart"

Well, we made a go-kart. Now, this go-kart had to be a fair size, all my boys are big, they make me feel small and I'm 6'2".

Anyway..... We thrashed the ring out of it until it blew up, (never saw that comming) While I was looking for bits for it, I found an old 3x3 yammy. Piece of S@#T it was, but got it for $150 and it ran (just) 1981 yamaha 3x3 125cc 2stroke 5 speed. UGLY!, no shocks, front or back, bucked like a wild horse, and was bent. So I got it going, gave it to the boys to play with, they loved it, I was a hero, It gives my wife and my little girl a nice sunday arvo nap when we go riding, everyones happy.
Then I found an old 70 or 90cc Quad, eveything but the motor, but I had a new 50cc pocket bike motor. So I hacked up the little Quad and turned it into a little kids buggy.

Since then I found another Quad, 150 chinese 4sp + rev, electric start, (i hate pullstarting the trike) $300. When I picked it up it didn't evan roll. It wasn't looked after very well.
I cleaned it up, and I was supprised at how well it went, ( for a 150,and chinese)
I was going to turn it into a buggy, but we all went for a ride with the Quad and the Trike, and they loved it even more, and so did I.
They beged me not to "CUT IT UP"' so until I blow it up.... I've got a Quad.
IT'S A BLAST !!!!!!
(not to sure if the pics will work)

Thanks.
It's the mono-shock swing arm off the little quad.
I extended it and mounted the motor onto it.
It all turned out pretty good.
