Took my new King Quad to Brushy Lagoon for a spin and managed to bog her to the gunnels and had to be towed out by my riding partner for the day, Tony B..
A bit of a description of the bog hole and surrounds and my failure to negotiate it.

Wasn't cold...Biggest problem was the stinking black mud and leeches...It took over 2 hours to clean the quad when I got home and about the same time for me in the shower. _________________ 2010 Sukuki

Tall me about it. Me and the girls go riding for a day and i spend the next full day washing the bikes. And a half a day fixing and checking them over. And the rest of the week some times two, dreaming about where we can go next time. You gota love it! _________________ If its got wheels I'll drive it!

That peat mud is the worse. It sticks like dried concrete splatter. I've taken to using this product for the plastics called "AUTO GLYM" VINYL AND RUBBER CARE. I couldn't get any 303. But any NON SILICONE product for plastics would do.
.......................................................................
After I wash it and dry it. I apply this stuff anywhere I can reach. It certainly helps in the cleaning next time. Most of the mud just hoses off.
It buffs those fine scratches out too. Well worth it. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

It was a good day Neil, it took me about 2 hours to wash the 4 wheeler properly and like you , another couple in the shower.
Now that we are experienced "MUDDERS" do we have to get those vacume cleaner hoses and stick em outa the front guards on our bikes? and what about thosee exhaust extensions they use for under water riding, do we need those as well?????
Next time we go there , ime gunna take one of those pocket sized butane blow torches to burn the leeches off me..... whats that ???? did i hear you say there wont be a next time ?
