Hey All.

I have an 04 TRX 450R and a Mate has the 05. Both Quads have really fast and light steering. How can i slow the steering down a bit?

They both have Kenda claw MX front tyres, one is the standard front end and mine has Hermann racing +2 MX A-arms. We plan on fitting 21 inch fronts and 20 inch rears ASAP, will that help?

Cheers,
Craig.

As said toe the front wheels straight or slightly out to knock off twitchy steering response.
Also watch castor changes when setting front / rear ride heights,
Changing wheel sizes too...
If you put bigger wheels on the back (or smaller on the front) the frame tilts forward.
Because the A-arms are fixed to the frame, you will also loose caster.
They only run a few degrees, and castor is the angle that helps your steering self centre.
The more caster you have the heavier the steering gets.
