I thought that since there is so much interest (in ATV camping trailers) that i'd do this one. Show us your camp/swag/tent/day trip setup PICS Pls.
so I'll start!
this is the old set up we used, cheap as and it worked "keeped us dry" spent 2 months straight there in Murchison Vic. so we went to a van park didn't have a quad back then just the 4bie. still got the tent but
we bought this double swag for the second trip to vic. it's a southern cross, it cost 3x more than the tent I think 6 or 700 $ and it's leaked every time it's rained I use it a lot and it's always packed ready to go but i must take a poly tarp just in case
water leaks

Apart from a swag, and a couple of tents, these are my now main humble abodes while in the great out doors.
and this will be the main one this year, it wont win any beaty comps, but by jingo it works well, and plenty of head room...

A couple of pics of my old caravan and little camping trailer -
The caravan is on a mates block at Bellingham just a couple of minutes ride away from the Bridport/Bellingham dune system. My old Polaris Xplorer 400 in the foreground pic circa 2002.
My little camper trailer is light and easy to tow. Has a full size single bed, cupboards, etc and is carpeted. I have a couple of 200 amp hour batteries and a couple of gennies for power and two annexes. All the antennas are for amateur radios whoich is another hobby of mine. The racks can carry a 12 Ft dinghy.
Camping on the North East coast of Tassie with a mate and his family.
Nothing to flash but they do everything that I need. _________________ 2010 Sukuki

Heres our old van 84 Apollo aerolite 12' 0r 14ft. or something did'nt like the off road stuff to much and literally collapsed with exhaustion very quickly.
The walls fall down around the floor and it's not the first one I've seen like that.

Gotta love those big tabbies......
If you don't, they'll rip your leg off!
And how do the pets sneak into the pics? Very easily! _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

I've got my own personal Dingo....She's in one of my pic's if you look hard.
Maybe I should have said "Indiginous Dog" just to be politically correct _________________ 2010 Sukuki

Another pic of my trailer with the resident Dingo in attendance.
I don't know if she is a Dingo but she sure looks like one. I found her on the side of the road in 2006 when she was about 8 weeks old and I haven't been able to get rid of her since. _________________ 2010 Sukuki

a heavy barrel tika 223 with a top of the range nightforce scope certainly helps.
and i shoot every week and have done for 20 yrs, so i get plenty of practice.
and no it wasnt trotting, just sitting there watching the sheep. |
