What does everyone think of buying parts for their quads from the US? who's the best/trusted companys you buy your aftermarket bits from?

ive never purchased anything overseas before so i thort id ask if anyone has had any problems? and is it easy? eg: money transfer and exhange rates n stuff? do you needa use a credit card?

any advice would be much appeciated Smile

cheers nick.

Depends on what you want? Have you got a list of bits that you need?

1) do your home work
2) if the site looks dodgy IT IS
3) if you find a web site before you pay, post a link here, some one might have had good or bad dealing with them.
4) I prfer paypal, but thats just my opinion, theres lots of different views on it here.

I have spent my money here twice
http://www.motocrossgiant.com/All_Terrain_Vehicle_Parts_and_Accessories_s/579.htm

I have spent a "profanity removed" load of money here... Very Happy
http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/common/Frontpage.jsp

and have found them to be 10/10, they even called me once when a part they had all ready shipped was the wrong one and sent me another one, and told me to keep the first one for stuffing me around.

BUT MAKE SURE WHAT YOU ORDR IS CORRECT, BECAUSE IF YOU STUFF UP, YOU NEED TO SHIP IT BACK AT YOUR COST.

good luck Very Happy

I've had zero issues buying from the States thru the www.
I always use my Visa credit card for protection.

Retailers I've purchased from:

http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.do
http://www.rickystator.com/
http://www.highlifter.com/
http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/common/Frontpage.jsp

I had a similar issue that yogie had, but instead mine was damaged. Could have been sent that way or may have been damaged in transit. They sent me a free replacement and I didn't have to ship the damaged item back. All I did was send them a picture of item.

try www.techquadshop.com Steve is the owner and has a killer website . I just spent $5k US with him last week (again) he is organising all my parts and shipping them direct to my bike builder in New Zealand . Communication all the way and knows quads . he's the cheapest ive ever found for anything except tyres ( buy them of Dom at hustler atv locally here in Aust )

thumbs up for steve @ TQS. xcellent prices.
http://www.tqsatv.com/

rockymountainatv also recommened ---> excellent service. got tyres delivered in 4 days + a few bits. x2 tyres delivered cost me the same as x1 here

use paypal / visa. bare in mind paypal always stitch u up a little on the exchange rate but safer / instant transaction.

If i bought the parts i purchased overseas locally = $1061.
With our dollar @ ~92.5c they cost me $610 express shipped.
