I have had both DMC and Barkers. I would go the Barkers as they have the same header length. (although I believe DMC has released a copy of the Barkers now which has headers on both sides of the engine?) _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo

Yes, the '07 is fuel injected. You are right in that the performance gains between a good single and duals have been noted as being very similar. I believe most people fit duals to try and wring as many horses out of their motors as possible without modifying them. The recommended fuel controller settings for my HMF full system were also the same for the monster duals. I personally find the power a lot smoother with the duals fitted. But other than that and the nicer tone, I didn't find a noticeable performance difference between the two set ups. They do look good but _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

Curtis Sparks single, puts out 1 HP less than Barker duals and is considerably lighter only having one can.
Unless you plan on riding at 7500 rpm or more the additional HP of the duals wont help.
try www.techquadshop.com Steve - he sells them all . get the PC 5 with the auto tune function and the 02 sensor ...makes it easy to tune and guaranteed to work for your setup or conditions.
Duals are all hype , a good dyno guy can get as much out of a good single as the duals ... proven many times over ... cheaper and lighter . _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |
