The thumb pump 300 is a 300km enduro race held in pinaroo south australia, with a really layed back fun atmosphere to be apart of.
Unfortunately i'll be only be a spectator this year again and hopefully be doing some filming too.

mate, its a either a 300k flat out enduro where you win at all cost, or a really long extended trail ride at your own pace, but move over for the firt lot i described, cant wait, mick@47 who runs it finds the hardest conditions and then makes it harder still, and so far the travelling circus has been a drought breaker each time its been run, so maybe the farmers might be linning up to have it it their own peice of paridise.

I still dunno which group out of that I'm in either. Don't think me or my bike has got what it takes to win but I might try for that group. I can trail ride anyday lol.

Do I need a full MA race licence for this or can I get day licence's ect?

I presume a team shares the one Quad.

Last year you could get a day licence, you can either share a quad in teams or use 1 each.

noise testing is not done by the promoter/organiser. It is done by MA and can be done at any MA sanctioned event. They are starting to get strict about it so i would check GCR. 12.10 and make sure your quad complys with it.

would i be out of line sudgesting that teams have to ride the same quad.

theres a big time saving to be had during changeovers if u only need to nudge wheels.
while a 1 bike team has to disconect kill switch, dismount, fuel up, remount and then hook up kill switch and then restart and then take off. this can take up to 1 minute while the 2 bike teams dont loose any time.
if u change riders every lap, thats a unfair advantage, and not only that,
every other class has to have a bike capable of doing 300 kays, while 2 bike team only does 150 kay each.

I think fom memory that would have wiped out every team from last year. Sorry, but Teams are not racing against the ironman for outright win so it does not matter.

me and yogie have raced teams the past 2 years on his john deere.

are you saying that no one would enter the teams on just one bike?
because we did and i will be again this year on my own bike with a mate of mine.
seeing as prize money is involved, shouldnt the playing field be fair.

Iam not letting Wes ride my bike again. I can see what you are saying but most peolpe that race in teams have there own bike and would rather ride what they know and own.

That's if he will ride with me again.
The last 2 races were great, this one will be even better.

If it's like Ryno's - Yes
But if it's a Ryno - NO - UTV come under CAMS not MA so cant race.
