well its about time i said hello again ,, things have been a bit slow over this one .here for the last couple weeks , i did however get to see some of the w.a boys ride motoxx and i was impressed , not only with the riding but also with the turnout . pro class had a full grid as did clubman and the blaster field was huge with girls getting in on the action and showing some of the boys how its done .
I only got to see the practice as my mate from adelaide had come over to compete in the drift australia series and i wanted to be at barbagelo to see him on saturday and sunday , last year he took out the championship in a different comp so had high hopes for this one .
he is a part of a three car team that all went well , noone made the top 5 however, with one car letting a piston go but my mate did finnish in the top ten so he was happy .
anyway is anyone over here in the west keen for a lancelin ride this weekend or next as im hangin for a ride |

hello again all, finally got out for a ride. Caught up with 3 blokes all top guys who took me and the family out to Lancelin dunes yesterday. It was a pretty crazy place. Anything that can be ridden on the dunes was there.
Buggy's, quads, trikes, two wheeler's and sand boarders all sharing the same space. i nearly didnt get to ride as i was unaware of the need for rec rego ,, noone told me about it , but one of the guys lent me theres so i could ride , that ment he had to sit it out while i was out there though so a big thanks goes out to him.
it was pretty funny the dad and the oldest son had yfz and the younger brother had a suzuki so he was copping "profanity removed" from everyone .
dave youll be happy to know that fc racing is going strong , my progress in training to become an olympic shot putt thrower is going swimmingly , i was so unfit out there it was embaresing just like my spelling .
now to the dunes , pretty good really , it was stinkin hot and windy so not super pleasent but still fun, heaps of bowls to carve up heaps of whoopy tracks that are better suited to people who can jog to there letter box and back without taking abreak half way.. and plenty of jumps .
the whole place sort of reminded me of kingston , the colour of the sand and some of the trails just not as big , pretty much no hill climbs .
we spent pretty much the whole day there , i went for two rides the second being the best we pretty much covered the3 whole area rode trails and found some jumps , i watched the two brothers have a bit of a race around for a while to catch my breath , one of them if not both are racing at ajs in a couple of weeks and ill be there watchin , should be good racing as the level of riding over here seems to be pretty high .
ive sent some pics to dave so hopefully he will post them for me , they arent to good as i didnt want to take my camera out into the dunes because of the wind , the wife would have spewed at me if i broke it .
well until next time i have somethin to tell you all have fun ride safe , and if any one in w.a wants to ride any where let me know ill be keen |

hello again finnaly i got to ride ,, way to long between rides
thanks to daz from this forum i was looking forward to trying out my bike with the altered cam timing,,
We ,, being me and my mate packed our stuff and headed to a place called the pines .
first ride went for about fifteen mins and ill tell you what i could notice the difference straight away it puleed harder in my opinion all the way through the rev range , so i was happy.
the next ride we went a biut further and found a huge open paddock so i thought this is a safe spot to let my mate ride mine while i ride his ,, his being a ktm 450sx two wheeler ,, this is where all went wrong and no to all of you smartie pants in s.a i didnt stack but he did ,, my new bike only 6 hours old and he flipped it ,, bent the bers and possibly the frame ,, ill look closer later ,, my blingstar bumper bent front plastic mounting lug snapped rear plastic metal bracet bent and a few scuff marks here and there.
i guess the moral to the story stay on your own bike .. till next time live hard eat hard ride like a girl |

yeah sorry kev not much to report was back in adelaide for a week a couple of weeks ago cause my sister had her baby ,, a little boy called fred ,,
between seeing them and the rest of the family we had zero time to catch up with anyone but thats the way it goes.
sounds like this year is being pretty much injury central over there ,, has there been a ride when noone is hurt ,, everyone must be pushing the envelope to be better then me when i get back ha ha ha ha ha
did you race jumbos at south coast was it fun .
the speedway sounds like its in full swing ,, oh and congrats on the presidency, is that how you spell it ,, you should put forward a motion to do a big old road trip interstate to come ride with me somewhere . well only about another 4 weeks in pearth then we start to head north cant wait really ive wanted to go up there for as long as i can remember .
well i hope this entertained you long enough kev i know you have way to much time on your hands these days |

this arvo, what a place really pretty ,, the caravan park over looks a river mouth and there are heaps of senic georges around that we will check out .
my wife has an uncle here and a cousin that rides quads so from what i gather there is some cool trails around that i cant wait to hit up ,well until i do there aint much to tell so ill let you all know |

well i finally got out on me bike ,, not to much of aride though as it was only to be shown how to get to where i need to be tmoz ,, but i still had a blast ,, sandy tracks with real mellow whoops that you could hit flat out ,, a place they call the sand pit that has some small but fun hills and some pretty dodgy looking jumps with lips that look like a half eaten yoyo ,, there was even two ramps , one lookede like it would colapse if i rode to close to it and the other a smaller one was a bit better looking and a lot smaller ,, so i did a few line ups and a couple of tests then i went for it ,, no only joking screw that i havnt ridden for ages and the ramp was just wide enough for the fronts to fit but it would have been nice .
went up another few tracks and ended up at this place called red hill , a rocky as hell 150mtr hill climb ,, the mate i went there with said he never seen a quad make it up there or heard of one making it ,, he reckons he seen one make it 3/4 the way up and come down in pieces ,, so i thought id show them how we do it in the south and got up it straight away ,, it was nothing though probably half as bad as the ones in the flinders except alot more comfortable than the last few at sky trek !!!!.
nowas for tmoz there will be another post and hopefully me old mate dave will post the pics for me ,, we are riding out to a place called lucky bay ,, its about a 30km trip there and i have been promised some big steep dunes ,, the place has been on the great outdoors for sandboarding safaris and stuff and i have seen brochures for this and the dunes look sweet , so as you can imagine im pretty excited to be hitting it up again ,, the best thing is we have been givin a shack to stay in for nothing and i can just go riding from here no trailer nothing its cool cool ,, by the way we are in kalbarri .w.a. well till tmoz have fun everyone |

Lucky Bay would have to be one of my favourite places !
Went there a heap of times fishing, and then the last time, with 4 Quads and rode all over the place. Hope you enjoy it !
We were on holidays at Port Gregory and were able to ride the bikes from the caravan Park down the road and onto the beach.
Mr Gaitar says watch out for the sand wind drifts..... also said, tis a good ride from Lucky Bay to the Kalbarri Bluffs up the beach and through the dunes. _________________ www.waquadmx.com |

| welli wentto lucky bay and i think i went the hard way as it took about an haour and a half to get there as i rode from the northern end of kalbarri all the way there , it was heaps of fun though and the dunes well they wernt huge but a couple of hills gave me a run for my money ,, the only down side for the day was that after being there for a couple of hours i started to feel like "profanity removed" and now have full blown tonsilitis again but thats the way it goes ,, unfortunately i forgot to pack the camera in the car wuth the wife as she drove down to meet me there so no pics again ,, i really am hopeless whith that stuff but will endevour to do better in the future until then bye for now |

| well our time in kalbarri is almost up and what a time its been i have put that many hours on my bike its hard to believe , riding every day straight from where we are staying , the tracks are great fun some whoops and some real fast corners , the hills are fun to try and get up but the roos and emus are a scary part of riding here , went out fishing today and trolled for mackerel and got two , two thumpers combined weight of close to 50 kilo and i got both so i was stoked well tmoz its time for a oil and oil filter change and a thorough cleaning then in the trailer for the next leg , its going to be hard to top this place though it has it all but im sure there is plenty in store for me yet |

well we are at aplace called denham just south of the famous monkey mia,, what a load of crap that place is even if you are going to fork out the $30 to stay there you still have to pay $12 to get in and then the dolphins well apart from scaring away fish they are useless and i cant belive all the hype about this place its not that great .
today though we headed up to point peron and a place called skipjack point and i tell you the tracks there are killer fun in the car soft as sand ruts and stuff trying to stay out of the ruts was my little game and i reckon we are about even. when we got there we stood on this platform thing and looked around and saw two manta rays ,, within a couple of mins a reef shark then a turtle then some big shovel nose rays or sharks a huge school of fish and more dolphins .
seen as i had been having no luck around the place for fish i decided to do the km or so walk around the cliffs to a hill you could walk down to try get some fish .
when we got down there shovel nose where everywhere , carly my wife said try catch one but i said you cant on lures so i cast it infront of one to prove a point ,, i was wrong you can and unlucky for me it happened to be about 8 foot long so after a small battle i had it ashore ,, thrashing about i thought how am i going to get the lure back but before i had time to think snap a $20 lure gone .
after that i went back around the point and fond the school of fish i was after , turned out to be tailor , what was tgo come was five firsts for me .
1. a tailor as i hadnt caught one
2. a fish on a popper lure
3. the shovelnose on alure
4. a flat head on a lure
5. and a fish being the flat head on a soft plastic lure
so all in all a killer day for me so far then the worst part walking back up the sand hill and think sheringa cause that was what it was like huge !!!!
then at the top i found a huge patch of three corner jacks or double g,s they call them over here .
but nonetheless i had fun and would recomend that if ever you are out this way go there the only thing we didnt see was a dugong but manta rays are cool and now i have seen them |

hello again well we have left exmouth and been through karatha , the shortage of accom there is rediculouse so we didnt stay there long . about 60km out of town we could smell what we thought was gas but turned out to be the bubbling slop that used to be my trailers wheel bearing greese ,, so of with the wheel and back to karatha for some new bearings then back on the road to pt hedland .
we have got somewhere to stay for the next 6 to 7 weeks and i have a job for one week at this stage just to see how i go and if the boss is happy it should turn into more and im hoping it will cause they pay is unbelievable .. there seems to be a few places to ride here so i will sus it out but the main goal is to work as much as i can and save heaps of coin ,, and dona im getting a bit worried that when i get back you sre going to be able to kick my but in more than one sport , but i can play dirty so i might be able to beat you in the kick boxing ,, until next time everyone be happy and enjoy the lovely weather i hear the south and east coasts are getting cause its to hot up here at 28 degrees i miss being freezing ,, ha ha ha |

hello to all,, finnaly found some yime to get back on board .we are in the n.t now and have rented a house for six months to start with ,, and im working again ,, it sux but the money is needed. for those s.a boys who know him craig is moving up here to so we can both make some cash so that should be good .
i also finnaly after about 6 months got the bike out and went for a ride ,leaving the front yard and riding down the street to an endless amount of trails crossing in and out of creeks and through some pretty lush forrest .
for some strange reason ive taken to sending pics of my balls to people ,, usually the reply is pretty blunt but dave n took the cake with his reply ,, ill leave it up to him to tell you all what it was .
anyway how is everyone doing back in s.a ,, big kev mick howie danger dave bullet and so on every one still havin fun ,, a mate brought whats his names suzuki of him the dude from willunga i cant remember his name ,, any way he was down robe way workin and took it with him ,, got drunk and decided it would be good to go for a ride ,,only to return 1.5 hours later with a bent bike ,, sucked in i say ,, dean thats his name .
anyway ive been doing plenty of fishing , my barra total is now in the double figures and my boats is pushing 25 but still no monsters , hopefully this weekend though .
well thats me done |
