We use a Shell bike wash concentrate in a 4l bottle which works really well, then just normal degreaser for any oil smears and stuff on the motor. Before races silicone spray on all the guards so mud doesn't stick as much and make everything nice and shiny |

A locally made product similiar to CT18.
If I want to degrease I use a product called 'Shift It'.
After washing I apply WD40 (or similiar) to everything except the plastics, wheels/tyres, chain, etc.... I thoroughly clean my quads cause they may sit for several months without being moved. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

Supercheap auto's Degreaser for the real hard stuff, then Supercheaps CT18 to get rid of all the rest. Finished off with Supercheaps version of WD40 to make it look sparkling.
Wow i sould get sponsored by Supercheap _________________ Thanks to: Hardiman ATV, Team MXN & CRB |

Mud and slush from out the bush doesn't hurt anything to much. A bit of detergent sprayed on with hot water and a couple of goes with the Karcher will fix it up then a bit of Armor All on the guards to shine it up.
Sand and salt from the beach is a real killer of quads and I like to spend at least a couple of hours with the Karcher and detergents then use WD40 or RP7 on exposed metal parts. Brakes and calipers are the things that really suffer in the sand and require regular attention. Chains and sprockets also suffer on Sports Quads after beach trips. _________________ 2010 Sukuki

Pressure wash and Steel wool soap pads on the motor and all the alloy parts for a nice shine.
