Hi anybody know how to adjust a banshee clutch so it will work, I spent all day yesty pulling the cover off adjusting the little screw & nut in the middle of the clutch put it back together, try it, pull it apart again, done it five times yesty dont matter what i do bike stalls when you put it gear, was a new heavy duty clutch bought b4 xmas last year, its had 3 rides. If anybody knows what there doing & will be near Merewether, Newcastle & could come fix it, let us know what beer you like to drink there will be a case here for you, or I bring it to you if you not to far away.

when you installed the new clutch were the fingers on the basket or inner hub grooved? if they were they can make you clucth stick.

if not you will notice on the top of the case where the cable goes onto arm there is a little arrow on both the cases and the arm. you need to adjust the little screw behind the clucth cover untill when the clucth lever isnt pulled in these 2 arrows line up. then you should be set.

Hey guys my mate put the clutch in he has done a few we filed the grooves off the fingers of the hub when it went in, i did the little scrw up till it stoped & backed it back a 1/4 turn no clutch, did it up so it touched no clutch, backed it off 1/8 of a turn no clutch, backed it off a full turn no clutch. each time i played with clutch handle adjustment & each time I started it up pull the clutch in put in gear 1st or 2nd & stall, give it half throttle & it jumps forward & stall, i line up the arrows on top of the cases no clutch just stall.

ive done mine several times and they are very simple. but if you are getting no clutch at either extreme of the adjustment, something is wrong. is the ball bearing "welded" to the rod? is it even there?
