how do i do it?

i can get a full kick starter kit. just need to know what needs to be done to do it before i buy it.

The biggest part will be pulling off the RHS engine case to put the kickstart gears in and plugging up where the starter motor goes, all the stuff you need should come in the kit though.

from the yamaha aus website

GYTR Kick Start Kit
The kick starter kit was designed as an auxiliary engine starting system. If used as the primary starting system, the electric starter system can be removed to reduce overall weight (see note below). Includes Kick Shaft Kit, Kick Crank Kit, Hot Start Cable, Aluminium Footwells, and Plastic Footwell Extensions. (Individual Kick Start components also sold separately).
GYT-5TG07-00 $1,372.98

Fits: 04-09 YFZ450

NOTE: Removing the battery is not recommended because the ignition may misfire if the radiator fan is activated without the battery connected. If the radiator fan is not needed for your particular racing conditions, then the fan and the battery can be removed to reduce overall weight.
Capacitor Kit
If the battery is removed on 06-09 models to reduce weight, this Capacitor Kit must be installed to avoid electrical-system damage.
GYT-5TG97-50-00 $147.80
(Part not shown)
