I am wondering if the front should be wider than the front or vice verser. I am pretty sure when i brought my 09 raptor 700 that the front was a little bit wider than the rear. Its just that i was talking to 1 of the shops and he said to have the rear wider. is this true. Any help is much appreciated.

baha you said the front wider then the front twice lol should be front wider to the back . ( sorry had to say it)

in my experince , if anything the front should be wider then the back. my quad is the same, front an back, 4+ front and back.

Don't have a quad wider at the back then it is at the front, it will handle "profanity removed", slidding will be dangerous because the back will wanna dig in, this only happening because there will be nothing stopping it as the front is to narrow to support it.... unless you like rolling over Smile can be fun haha.

hope it helps

They are definitely a cool toy.
But not one that i have much experience on just yet.
To me they seem to inspire the cruiser attitude, not the usual cut sick quad approach.
But yeah, i'll let it grow on me.

The coolest thing is because you dont look at your back end while you are riding, they are just like riding a quad on the road.

If i was coming up to Nelson Bay... I'd rather bring the quad Smile

I'll see if i can chuck some Spyder pics up.

Oh, and back to the topic...
Front width equal to the back or wider IMO.
Up to an inch wider each side at the front depending on rider preferance and what you are up to.
But never wider at the rear if you can help it.

My 2 cents anyway Smile

I spoke to quite a few riders in America about this and they all run the rear wider than the front. Some tracks require different setups but they start with that setup first.
Its something that will change from track to track.

Get some 642.5 per side spacers. Everyone knows how good they are.
