Hi all just after some advice.
My dads bike currently has a gear box problem, When you go from first to second, you have to go through nuetral, e.g 1 - n - 2 instead of 1 - 2.
anyone ideas on wat it could be?

no all the gears are fine, just instead of going from 1st straight to 2nd he has to go " 1st to neutral to 2nd"
