yep buddy that was me , i havent put it in yet because my daughters bike needed fixing and now my wifes , xmas presies already bought schooling payed for,. now i can spend money on my bike and not feel guilty. will let you know how it goes. ive been told it will handle heavilly modded engines and last a very long time. if its longer than 12 months i will be happy, but they have told me i should never have to replace it again.

yea, but if a starter clutch went out with in a year of replacing it that would be pritty screwed.

my dads bike needs a gear box rebuild i think :S

i know but that is as long as the last oem one lasted, probably didnt help the cause rebuilding the engine and it being all tight and compression back to where it was at 14:1 , i did see it was slightly worn when we had it apart but thought ill let theengine loosen up a bit b4 i change it, not a good move.
at the most ive only done 10 hrs since the rebuild, and the starter clutch is dead.

mine started shitting itself just after i bought it second hand, i think i was riding it for about a total of 2 hours until we took it to the mechanics and realised i had to fork out 1500, at 16 that is not easy at all lol.

mate that sure would suck , especially at 16 , $1500 is a lot to fork out at your age, for something you had just bought.
i was also in the same situation but im a lot older, but i had gone from a 150 kazuma and bought a full flat track race bike, just forked out$5000 for it and went riding it and the starter clutch "profanity removed" itself. race bike no warranty my prob. also $1500 later, and a grumpy missus, it was fixed. sucks hey?

I have a kit & it works well. Always get the delux kit & you should never have a problem. Install instructions with photos can be found on www.raptortranny.com or www.moddedraptor.com.
