Big thumbs down. Ginned me around on a overseas order. No humans contactable. No provision for feedback or communication. No way I'll ever use them again.

why couldnt you contact them?? goto 'contacts' and ring them. then wait until all the options are finished and then you will be directed to an operator.

Yep. Did all that you said Banshee. Except there was no operator at the end. 3 times between 9 and 5 their time. Web site doesn't allow for too many options. Emails x 5. No answer over 10 days. Case closed.

I gotta agree, but it comes down to whom you purchase off, The most I've paid with paypal was close to $1500 US dollars but I made sure they actually excsited, simple as that, and on ebay if buy something interstate, I get forumites here or another site to go and pay cash for it, then they can decide if its worth it or not, all basic stuff but it works for me, and I'll be stiffed one day, but these cretans make their living of ripping us off.

about 2 yrs ago i never recieved something i ordered, worth around $350,
i opened a dispute thing and it took them about 6 weeks and paypal transfered the money back into my acc.

a further 6 weeks later i was contacted by the fraud squad in melbourne and paypal was pressing charges against the dude that was being dodgy.
they had him up on multiple charges and he ended up in jail.
thats all i know, but for me paypal has allways been a efficient way of keeping your banking details safe.
and regardless of if u have been stung, would u rather send a stranger money via bank transfer and have no chance of getting refunded. at least with paypal u have a better then even chance of getting reimbursed.
but as yogie said above, be smart and do your homework.
