Update
Thanks for the Support for this Race . I Now have 30 committed riders from interstate. which most of you have taken the frieght option. There will be one or two drop out for various reasons so don't stress there could be some spots come up.
Still changing Regs here and there. so alittle longer.
Again thanks for the support we will have over 100 riders

Back flip on the earlier back flip is now in writing that the New 950cc Machines can enter this event in the 4x4 class.
Now the Regs can proceed and will be out shortly.

So whats the go with this bloody race Billygoat?
When are the Sup Regs going to be out?
Who is freighting our bikes?
What size box do we need to build for our quads and spares to freight them?
Who is coming?
Is Rath coming or not?
What sort of terrain is it? What tires do we need?
I know it will be hot and wet, but just how hot and wet?
Time is ticking away mate us interstaters need to book airplane tickets soon.
Pull you finger out fella the rest of the country dosent run on the Darwin wait till the last min clock

OK the race is coming along fine
the Regs are with MANT
final number of quads and frieght companys will happen 1st week in Jan
I would not build a box . go to Honda and buy one . They are strong and they can stack these easy . No fuel
Everybody is coming ... Even a ring in from South Africa on a can am
48 interstate riders so far 
Rath is coming at this stage I have everything booked this end and have bought a new Polaris so he better come ah.
I was out Marking the track yesterday .. Lost count after 4 million trees 3 million ant hills etc Just leave your MX set ups at home.

Just to keep people in the loop about the freight . I have a list of 30 riders that have requested Frieght. As people will pull out for various reasons the amount of quads could change. Depends where people pull out of eg SA, and the next people on the list is Brisbane .
Most of the Frieght companys don't want anything on this until after Christmas so I would like everybody to enter in December so I can have a list of bookings first week of Jan. On the entry there will be a frieght option. You just need Name the Capital city and I will get back to you with a booking. We have several companys wanting to do this so we will spread it around abit.
A lot of work is Happening behind the scences with track marking and other bits.

JRE Dayrls quad will be in a Raffle for a ride in Finke after this event. it will be available after that . a club Member has put up the money to fund this quad so it will be offered to him first. $50 dollars a ticket cheap supported ride in Finke if you win.

How Good is Can am and Territory Marine. Bloody Marvellous 
These guys will cover a % of the $300 frieght cost coming to this event. So if your on a can am your on a winner with a brand that supports its riders.
The amount will be worked out when entries are received.

question about setup of the track, will the track be wide enough for a MX setup, 50 inch though woods is not ideal but most guys that race an enduro use an MX setup.
your thoughts?

we have 80% of the track marked as of today. the last 20% is through the Jungle. This is where the width will hurt you I suppose. Trick prologue slowest and let the 100 quads in front of you mow the trees down .
Seriously it shouldn't be a problem as we will have the track so RZRs and Rhinos can get around.
