gday all,

i recently bought a 2nd hand Timberwolf, for it's age it's in good shape and still goes really well, by the look of the oil it's the original though Laughing

i couldn't find a drain bung so once I remove the cover for the filter can I drain the oil through there ?

was lucky to get the last remaining filter in Bundy as well !

cheers
Tommo

drain plug on them is on the lhs side of the case. big alloy plug with a 17 or 19mm head use a single hex socket beacause they round off pretty easy

gday fellas,

instead of starting another thread i've got a couple of more questions,

would i still be able to get a replacement rear shock for this quad ? ('97)
a bike wrecker quoted me $350 to send it away and recon it.

also, are aftermarket mufflers available ?
i'm a boilermaker so I can probably modify a new one to suit i suppose.

last one Rolls eyes

after changing the oil, filter and plug i had a look at the air filter in the air box (?) under the seat, the filter is on it's last legs so I'll change it out also, but i'm just wondering why there would be oil in the box ?

Not 100% sure but it might have came back through the carby if the bike has been rolled or something. Someone on here will know.

You should be able to get a shock for it. If not take the measurements off it and see if a shock off a newer bike will fit it.

To go to and from reverse I have manually shorten and lengthen the link every time otherwise it won't engage. Is this difficult or expensive to fix?
I am in Brisbane.
