who is coming to lakes on the 8th of November?
this is the final round of the hardiman cup series and our first time at Lakes, for those who don't know of this track it is where they hold a national 2 wheeler round each year and is a great layout.
the club is very proactive with Quads allowing us for the first time to ride on it, so lets make a good impression so we can push foward with a club that would love to have us there all the time.

ill be there, but im unsure what i need!! i get different answers off everyone!! i know i need the nerfs, kill switch and proper clothing. i suppose i need boots, too? what else is there?? also, what do i have to get, as in licenses and stuff (can tell ive does this before). its my first race, im excited lol.

goggles
helmet (no scratches or dings)
gloves
jersey
pants
boots (mx boots
nerf bars
kill switch (in working order)
quad (in working order, no loose bits that could cause a safety issue

For any 1st timers who want to have a go, there will be a 30 minute practise for all classes. That way you can cruise around for a couple of laps and just slowly adapt to the track.
We really need this event to be successful as the last race at Barliegh Ranch the club lost money and wont run us anymore unless we get the numbers. Lakes basically have got the same attitude, if we dont get the numbers its just not worthwhile for them to include us next year. They have nothing againts quads, its just business.
And we'll tell AJ to move up a class !! |
