hay bloke

i just brought a brand new polaris 850xp
i brought it with a brand new rear lock and ride box (also font1 as well)

when i was driving my rear box flu str8 of 15 min b4 arrivale
(thought the name lock and ride would work)
drove 1.45min gettn up there no probs (all driving was on str8 roads no bumps at all)
and after 4 hours riding same thing happen it unclip itself probly the same way the first time proobly

brand new box surrived give it 10/10 for not breaking but seriously stratched tho

has the whole lock and ride system always been like this or is it the new polaris xp system only

well im glad i got a honda . and your supposed to be able to strap things on top of that lucky there wasnt a $1000 video camera on top as well whats the load rating on it

not 2 sure about the load rating but have seen pics of 20 litre fuel tank with a swag on that but rear rack total SWL i think its around 120kg and front 70kg will check on bike lata

how much can the honda rack handle and whats the towing capicty
(just curios)

max weight capacity 220kg
includes rider cargo accessories

frunt rack is 30kg
but i have dun 70

rear rack is 60kg
but i have dun near 100

i can tall you it was unstable and it was done only to get from the car to the camp site

tow weight limit is 385kg with tougue weight of 14kg

With the lock & ride you can adjust the rubber expanders so that they are much tighter when fitted to your XP... do this and they wont move!
