No need for concern, this is the norm out here in the boondocks .
thing is its a predominately 2 wheeled club with a new committee, patience is a virtue my friend , it will happen 
of course they don't share our anticipation to enter this prestigious event , but they do enjoy the action and want this to happen just as much as you do !!! |

Hey Brian , last I heard was they may have to trim it down to,,,,

+ Junior classes
There will be a General club meeting before the club day kicks off this Sunday 11/10/09 ( <- the final countdown , everyone is invited to participate in this, we value the input, it is the last meeting before our Qld championship and we can do so here .
If the Supps are still not out by this weekend , I will get a definite reply at this meeting. |

Thats the thoroughbred spirit mate, day licences will be available , about 60 -70 bucks total from memory, newcomers are encouraged !
If you have any flaggies spare , they are always in demand and the club provides food and drinks to the best seats on the track .
Otherwise just come and enjoy yourselves !!! |

7 am Gates open
7:15 - 8-15 Scrutineering/Nominations
8:15am Riders Briefng/ Meeting
9 am Practice
We will hold a brief 30 min meeting to discuss the up and coming QLD Quads Championships. We would like to advise all members that it is important that all nominations and scrutineering be done before 8:15am to make sure our day runs smoothly and on time. |

Just spoke to Megan who is helping run the event. She said to send nominations in even though today is the closing date. They will keep accepting noms up to and including on the day of racing.

Thats good to hear , we better send ours in Monday .
getting plenty of cardio training this year , been dragging fire hoses up and down our sandy river banks every second day for the last 3 weeks 
Plan to do a "Raindance" , this Sunday night , try to groove up a few inches of rain to water the track to settle the dust and these fires,
then we'll be good to go  |

I sent my noms in express on monday (and another express for return) - still haven't got anything back yet so hopefully next week ill get my riders pass.
Ill be making the long trip down from Townsville, and plan to arrive friday arvo. Ill be camping so ill be looking foward to meeting other fellow members. |
