Hi everyone, i dont know if someone organises stuff like this or not but i thought ide try! Wink. Me and a mate have been running a few races at stockton for a while and want alot of people to come up there!! we have 3 banshees and 3 yfz450's. dont mean to brag or anything but my banshee is the quickest, lol. the fastest bike we have seen next to my banshee is another banshee and some crazy trx450. We wanna see some really fast ones!! would love to have a good weekend over there with a crap load of bikes, just racing and cruising... what do you think?? we rekon it would be abit of fun and chance to meet a few new people.

jaquesy.

where abouts would you race?
the sand bowl up pageys is out of bounds and the rangers will have a big crack down on everyone again if drag races are planned over there if you get caught coming out of pageys hill and if you get a not so happy ranger they will stop you get your plate number and could issue you a fine. last time there were drag races that was easter 2008 and that was up past the signa where all the open flat beach is but that was on a rainy day the rangers were there that day did have a little to winge about but didnt really care.
yes it would be very cool to organise some drag racing and get atleast 100+quads and trikes out there but it gets to dangerous i remember easter 08 there were atleast 6-7 bikes racing at the same time right next to each other.easter 2007 was alot safer the races were held up pageys in the sand bowl but the track leading into there by macs track were not blocked off.they had races of 2 quads each time and had knock out rounds to see who was the fastest.
October long weekend is soon and that would be a good day to organise a ride day but you would have to find a decent drag strip in the desinated area so no-one winges about it
also you do know the rangers do get on this forum and reads what all goes on at stockton?

ok maybe i should have put it differently... as much as i would love to see all the super fast crazy quads, ide rather the everyday riders. not everyone can afford the $20,000 price tag on one of those things!! its more fun that way. im not goin to really organise anything, ill just say a certain weekend would be a good day to have some fun!! its more to do with meeting people than beating people, lol. we will be there this satdy and sundy, anyone that comes we will see you there! it will be me on the blue banshee, jobbo with the yfz450, cameron with the yfz450, tyrone with the banshee and shane with the banshee.

just looked longer in your pic.

the elka roll design set-up looks sweet but is definently pricey.
im also trying to work out what suspension to go with. im thing +3 with fox's but i dont know...

Why dont you both put in a yfz450 front end. That would give your bikes a better set up and save some money too.

just saying

i've got a 450 set-up, but i'm unsure if its the best way to go about it. i might just get some nice shockers and see how it is...

yeah i suppose a set of roll design or i-shock arms and shocks would be better. a full set of i-shock from the states is $2100 arms, braided brake lines, billet clamps, tie rod/tie rod ends, shocks and all the tools!!

haha thats ok.
