Gday crew, in yet another attempt to piss my wife off its time for more upgrades. Next on the list is the exhaust system. There are som many out there & i dont really know which one to go for . Ive had eye on the x3 leo vince system that my mechanic has told me about but i just wanted to ask anyone out there who has or have owned a trx450r, so which is the better performing system for the trx? _________________ 04 TRX 450r

Yoshimura by a long shot. Heaps of very usable HP and best quality by far. I have been using Yoshi for years and have now converted all my mates, they all love them too. _________________ DNA ATV Racing 09 KTM300EXC |

I went off staintune a while ago, once they get old they get noisy and arent easily quietend down again.
The Yoshi and Leo are probably on a par as far as build quality and price (esp when your talkin full Ti) the only thing with the yoshi's on a honda is they seem to dent a bit to easily (hey Daryl)
Bills pipes are solid but loud as **** and the DMC's seem to fall to bits on Hondas cos they only have one mount.
Big gun dont look to bad either and some versions even come HPC coated so they are easier to keep clean.
FMF and Pro Circuit are maybes, not bad build quality but hard to get here. _________________

the question is really "which is the better performing system for MY trx".....and the answer is "dont know" and niether does anyone else. You have a hi-comp piston and a cam so until you test them all it's just a guess.
I do know for sure that any of the systems mentioned above will be light years in front of the TRX stock system. If you can get a good price on a Leo or a Yosh then thats what I would get. |
